Privacy Policy

We use your information to:

• Create and run your account, and keep it secure.
• Run group purchase orders: invitations, reviews, commitments, supplier auctions, awards and delivery.
• Take payments, hold cards and pay suppliers when an order goes ahead.
• Match buyers with similar orders and suppliers with relevant orders.
• Power our AI features. We send what you type to an AI provider to answer you. We don't let them use it to train their models.
• Answer requests from AI assistants you connect (see section 4).
• Send emails about your account and your orders. You can turn off optional emails at any time.
• Prevent fraud and misuse, and meet our legal duties.
• Improve JoinMyOrder using combined, anonymous usage information.

We don't sell your personal information. We share it only as described below.

You can connect JoinMyOrder to an AI assistant, such as Claude (Anthropic), ChatGPT (OpenAI), Grok (xAI) or Muse (Meta). You can also connect your own AI operating system (AI OS) or second brain. In this section, "assistant" means any of these. You choose whether to connect one. You can turn it off at any time.

Information we share with your assistant. When your assistant asks, we send it the information it needs for your request: your group order invitations, order details (items, quantities, prices, delivery dates), your status on each order, your limits, and your name, organization and email address. We don't send your card details or passwords.

Why we share it. So your assistant can check, review and join orders for you, as you ask.

How your assistant uses it. Your assistant's company handles this information under its own privacy policy. Please read it. If you connect your own AI OS or second brain, it is kept wherever you run it, under your control and the privacy policies of the services it uses.

What we keep. We keep a record of each connection and each action your assistant takes: the time, the action, the order and the result. We keep these records while your account is open and for up to 24 months after, so you and we can review them. Sign-in tokens are stored securely and deleted when you turn the connection off or they expire.

Your choices. Turn off an assistant at My profile → AI agents → Turn off. To ask us to delete your connection records, email contact@JoinMyOrder.com.

• All information sent to and from JoinMyOrder is encrypted.
• Our database only lets each person see the information they are allowed to see.
• Sign-in tokens for AI assistants are stored in a scrambled form and expire on their own.
• Stripe handles card details, so they never reach our servers.

No system is perfectly secure. If a data breach affects you, we will tell you as the law requires.

We keep your account and order information while your account is open. If you close your account, we delete or anonymize your personal information within 90 days. We keep some information longer when the law requires it, to prevent fraud, or until it drops out of our backups.

Records of completed orders and payments are kept for seven years for tax and accounting. AI assistant records are kept as described in section 4.

• See and correct: you can view and change most of your details in your profile. For anything else, email us.
• Delete: email us to close your account. We act on requests within 30 days, subject to section 6.
• Get a copy: email us for a copy of the personal information we hold about you.
• Emails: use the unsubscribe link in any optional email, or your email settings. Emails about your account, security and payments always go.
• AI assistants: turn one off at any time (see section 4).

If you live in California, you have the right to know what personal information we collect and how we use and share it, to ask us to delete or correct it, and to opt out of its sale or sharing. We don't sell or share personal information as California law defines it. To use your rights, email contact@JoinMyOrder.com. We won't treat you differently for using them.

We use cookies to keep you signed in, remember your settings and understand how JoinMyOrder is used. We don't use advertising cookies. You can control cookies in your browser, but if you turn them off you may not be able to stay signed in.

JoinMyOrder is not for anyone under 18, and we don't knowingly collect their information. If you think a child has given us information, email us and we will delete it.

Our service providers may process your information in other countries, including the United States. We take steps so these transfers follow data protection laws.

We may update this policy. If we make an important change, we will tell you by email or in JoinMyOrder at least 14 days before it takes effect. The effective date at the top shows when this version started.
