Connect JoinMyOrder to Claude

Claude can check your group order invitations, review them, and join orders for you. It always shows you the order and asks you before it joins.

Before you start

  • You need a JoinMyOrder account. If you don't have one, you can create it during step 4.
  • Set your limits first. Click My profile, then click Open AI Agents. Fill in Step 1: Your agents' limits and click Save limits.

Steps

In Claude, open Settings and click Connectors.
Click Add custom connector.
Type the name JoinMyOrder and this address:
https://app.joinmyorder.com/api/mcp
Click Add.
Click Connect. Sign in to JoinMyOrder.
Read what Claude will be allowed to do. Click Allow.
That's it. Ask Claude: "Show my new JoinMyOrder invitations."

What your assistant can do

  • See your group order invitations and the details of each order.
  • Send your review of an order.
  • Join an order for you, within your limits. It shows you the order, the quantity and the total first. It joins only after you say yes.
  • Leave an order while it is still open for commitments.

What your assistant can't do

  • It can’t confirm an order or pay. You confirm and pay yourself on JoinMyOrder.
  • It can’t change your limits. Only you can, on JoinMyOrder.
  • It can’t join an order that breaks your limits. JoinMyOrder refuses it and tells you why.

Click My profile, then click Open AI Agents. Go to Step 1: Your agents' limits.You can set the products, the highest price per item, the most items and money per order, and the latest delivery date. You can also set Ask me first above ($). Then click Save limits.

Stop it any time

Click My profile, then click Open AI Agents. Under Your agents, click Turn off next to Claude. It stops working right away.

Check each morning

Your assistant works only when you ask it, or when you schedule it.To have it check every day, ask: "Every morning at 8, check my JoinMyOrder invitations and tell me about anything new."You still get JoinMyOrder's emails as usual.

Questions

Does it cost anything?Connecting is free. Your assistant's own plan may have a cost.
Can it spend my money?No. It can only join an order within your limits, after you say yes. Nothing is charged until you confirm the order yourself on JoinMyOrder.
What if it gets something wrong?You can leave an order while it is still open for commitments. Every action is listed on the AI Agents page, under What your agents did.
How do I stop it?Click Turn off next to Claude on the AI Agents page.
